Birdwatchers Bungalow, Orcas Island

An all-inclusive wood cabin in the heart of the San Juan Islands, home to exotic birds and stunning natural landscapes. The cabin house design of this remarkable two-story cottage entwines a plethora of surprises. From 360-degree views to a large open balcony, the dwelling is oriented and designed to maximize birdwatching, enjoy the surrounding nature, and cherish the waterscape. Large windows are designed to invite sunlight into its interior spaces. Integrating timber and steel construction provides the home with a sturdy and aesthetic look. The exterior crafted in wood shingles delivers a natural woodland rustic charm. The project stands out as a unique cabin home nestled within the heart of rich foliage.
